you can also try sending phony names, passwords and account numbers. I KNOW you can google fake credit card numbers. If the "bank" website accepts your phony crap, you know it's a scammer. I did that a little while back. I sent account numbers from Jonny Naive, Susan Noob and several other account holders and this website just ate it up. Oh, and NEVER give out bank info via e-mail. If the bank really wants to get in touch they WILL snail mail you.

Dude, do you think by reading something (which has no input in a computer whatsoever if you read a specific comment) it will magically be true? How does a computer know if you read something or not? It doesn't. You're just paranoid, I read that crap 20 times a day, and nothing happened to me.

This happened to my sister,but she got it taken care of before all her money could be taken. She kept getting emails from her bank(scammers) and when she went to check it out, she found out the bank never sends out emails, so that is something to look out for as well. I don't want it to happen to me so thank you for making this to help identify these kind of emails!

I answer all phishing emails. Then I give them false info, after the waste their time I email them back saying sorry I misstyped my info with a great apology. Then I send them more bad info. I had one jerk weed running around for two weeks by pretending to be a dumbshit.
